When: Saturday September 30th, 2023 Meet 7:15 am EST start 7:30 am
Where: 34.99571, -83.28190 We will park on Hale Ridge Road and the Bartram Trail Crossing. Hale Ridge is a gravel forest service road. Coming down the road from Sky Valley or the highlands the trailhead is on your RIGHT. Please do not block the road.
What: 8.5 miles to 15 plus. Our route will be the 12 mile rabun half marathon loop. It has approximately 2700 ft gain and same loss. All on the race course for 25k/50k. We will have a mid pack paced group but all paces welcome. 8.5 mile option is run to Rabun Bald and back on the Bartram Trail. It’s 4.2 miles one way with 1300 ft gain or so.
